Von Willebrand disease (VWD) is one of the most common inherited bleeding disorders. This presentation will discuss how assembling knowledge of a patient's clinical presentation, laboratory data, disease inheritance and defects, coupled with diagnostic molecular testing for newly identified variants of VWD, can be complementary for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment of a patient with VWD.
